It was the first class of the day. The teacher was writing on the blackboard. Suddenly all the doors and windows began to shake. The teacher's table shook and the piece of chalk rolled down to the ground. The children shouted, "Earthquake! Earthquake!" All of them
started running out of the room. The teacher said, Don't run! Go out of the room carefully."
এইটো দিনটোৰ প্ৰথম শ্ৰেণী আছিল। শিক্ষকজনে ব্লেকবৰ্ডত লিখি আছিল। হঠাতে সকলো দুৱাৰ আৰু খিৰিকী কঁপিবলৈ ধৰিলে। শিক্ষকৰ মেজখন কঁপি উঠিল আৰু চকৰ টুকুৰাটো মাটিলৈ ঘূৰি আহিল। শিশুসকলে চিঞৰি উঠিল, "ভূমিকম্প! ভূমিকম্প!" সিহঁত আটাইকেইজন কোঠাটোৰ পৰা দৌৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে। শিক্ষকজনে ক'লে, দৌৰিব নালাগে! কোঠাটোৰ পৰা সাৱধানে বাহিৰলৈ যাওক।"
After a while everything became quiet. The students came back to their classrooms. They got busy with their work again. Soon they heard an announcement outside the class room. They all looked out of the window. They saw a rickshaw. A man was sitting on it with a microphone in his hand. He was telling people what to do during an earthquake.
অলপ সময়ৰ পিছত সকলো শান্ত হৈ পৰিল। শিক্ষাৰ্থীসকল তেওঁলোকৰ শ্ৰেণীকোঠালৈ ঘূৰি আহিছিল। তেওঁলোক পুনৰ তেওঁলোকৰ কামত ব্যস্ত হৈ পৰিছিল। সোনকালেই তেওঁলোকে শ্ৰেণী কোঠাৰ বাহিৰত এটা ঘোষণা শুনিছিল। তেওঁলোক সকলোৱে খিৰিকীৰ বাহিৰলৈ চালে। তেওঁলোকে এখন ৰিক্সা দেখিলে। এজন মানুহ তাৰ ওপৰত বহি আছিল হাতত মাইক্ৰ'ফোন লৈ। তেওঁ মানুহক কৈ আছিল যে ভূমিকম্পৰ সময়ত কি কৰিব লাগে।
